Wayne, IN 6/12/08 --- The Komets announced Thursday
that veteran winger P.C. Drouin has agreed to terms and will
return for the defense of the 2008 IHL Turner Cup.
Drouin, 34, will be skating his fourth season in Fort Wayne.....

Wayne, IN 6/2/08 --- The Fort Wayne Komets will begin
their defense of the IHL Turner Cup Championship Friday,
Oct. 17 at Port Huron against the team they defeated for the
IHL crown 4 games to 3 in the 2008 finals. The Komet's
home opener will be Saturday, Oct. 18 when they host the
Flint Generals at 7:30pm.....

Wayne, IN 5/14/08 --- The IHL Turner Cup Champion Fort
Wayne Komets held their annual End-of-Season Party and
Jersey Auction Wednesday night at the Allen County War
Memorial Coliseum and raised a record total of $35,350.....

in triple overtime Hodgman IHL playoffs MVP Fort
Wayne, IN 5/12/08 --- It took a while but the Komets
finally prevailed over the visiting Port Huron Icehawks
in triple overtime Monday night in Fort Wayne to capture the
seventh and decisive game of the IHL Turner Cup Finals 3-2.
IHL playoffs MVP Justin Hodgman scored the game winner 23 seconds into the third
overtime to end the game after 100 minutes, 23 seconds of
play. Hodgman finished his first pro playoffs leading the Komets
with seven goals and 14 points in 13 playoff
